ok!......I will keep my fingers crossed and trust GOD that by next week my CC will be charged.

Is it now a requirement by CIO that every applicant must submit IELTS scores? cos I read somewhere when someone on NOC A had his application returned because he did not include IELTS scores?.....

Not for everyone but it depends on individual cases, you have to prove to CIO that you have entered the country before July 1st, if there are nothing to backup the claim then the application can be return.

All the Best Bukola..

This is getting really confusing.......I dont leave in canada or have ever been to canada, so the issue of entering canada before July 1st does not suffice. I sent my application without IELTS scores cos the website explicitly explained that it was required for NOC C & D only from PNP applicants

Well if that is the case, the province that nominated you will be the one to tell CIO if you will require IELTS or not. Once your files are sent to CIO, they include some personal note from the provincial nominee about the applicant.

The language assessment was just a way to make sure that applicants can speak and write English before coming to Canada. I guess if you have taken your education in English language it may not be need.

Thank just my own personal opinion..

All the BEST

Thank you so much for your encouragement Ojeola, I was nominated by the Province of Manitoba and I remember contacting them to confirm if it was necessary for me to send my application to CIO with the IELTS scores and they relied me with an emphatic NO!!!!!....Just chilling for my CC to get charged.

Hey Guys, Can Some one tell me what does this mean i didn't receive AOR yet or MR and i Got this email on the 5th of Oct 2012 from the junk Mail of my rep.

It says the Following:

Congratulations.

We understand that your application for permanent residence with Citizenship and Immigration Canada has been finalized. This means you will soon be living in Nova Scotia as a permanent resident.

Services are available for nominees and their families whether living in Nova Scotia or living outside Canada.

You may have already contacted the Nova Scotia Start Program and registered with them.

If not, we strongly encourage you to do so at this time. Contact with the settlement staff at Nova Scotia Start will make your move and transition to Nova Scotia easier.

The program is online at www.novascotiastart.ca <http://www.novascotiastart.ca/> .

Wishing you all the best,

Nova Scotia Nominee Program

Nova Scotia Office of Immigration

YL.....I guess the email is quite explicit! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!. I suspect CIO must have contacted immigration nova scotia regarding your success in the application. This is definitely the right step in the right direction, your AOR should arrive soonest.

The email in my own opinion is a Congratulatory message from the Novia Scotia Nominee program, it has nothing to do with CIO/CIC. This is not the pattern CIO/CIC send emails out to applicants.

Hopefully you hear something soon...

All the BEST..

What's up guys?

Got a medical exam on Monday. Fees are on you whether you have health insurance or not, you'll get deduction from blood test, but X-Rays are fully on you. I didn't calculate the total yet, but from the first glance I believe it'll cost around $270-$300
