Hey guys, it looks like its been a good news day for a few of us! I'd been away on business for the beginning of the week and I came back to the best mail ever, my COPR. I got home at 6PM and by 6:30PM had found a rental car to drive down to the US border to complete my landing! I was home and done by 9:00PM. It's all over!!!! It was so nice to hear "you are now a permanent resident of Canada" from the agent at the border! The US agents had looked at my US passport and asked why I wanted to immigrate, which was pretty funny!

Best of luck to everyone else in finishing up! I hope all of you can soon have the joy of being done!

Guys, got my COPR in the mail today. I'm Visa exempt since I hold a US passport so the timeline might be shorter since they didn't need to stamp my passport. Took me three weeks from when they asked for the RPRF. I mailed everything the day after that, it got there on a Friday. And there was one holiday that CPP-O was closed. I'd been away since Sunday so its possible it had been in my mailbox since Monday. But, around 3 weeks for me.

Great news came in today, the PPR landed in my box from Accra VO, I had my medical on the 23-Dec-12.
Have no fret guys, this is our time, the PPR flood is coming our way.

true but the validity of permanent visa is according to the validity of medical done.. i have seen many cases where the permanent visas are issued exact to the date medical was done.. May be iam wrong..

Hello Everyone,

Today 5th/March/2013, i got my PPR !!!! It has been a journey of many months with many heartbreaks but gradually it coming to an END. Want to say a BIG thank you to everyone that gave me all the words of encouragement when am down.

I sent it as an email attachment to the regualy ottawa-immigration email. So were you ask to complete your bIo data and include 2 photographs ?
