Yea, quite aware of that, call CIC today, was told that after medicals files will undergo Background checks then ECAS may change to "In Process" then files with be transfer to CPP-O for final processing

in process when it was transfered to CPP? or during background checks?

With what i have heard from other forum members that applied to CIO, they went to "In Process" when their files was transferred to CPP-O. CIO are doing the checks / eligibility then CPP-O with just make the final decision if there are no more further checks required.

All the best to us ALL.

Do you think that you'll get your PR only a month after doing your medicals? I was under the impression that it would take a little longer than that.

I like how optimistic you guys are to get PPR soon when there are applicants from earlier 2012 and late 2011 who did not get them yet..!

Yes, it can happen. He applied at a different and a less application load Visa Office (Ghana). I am aware of about 3-4 people that got their PPR from that same VO with the whole processing taking up to 5 months. The whole processing depends on the Visa Office handing the applicants case. Malina Visa Office takes about 5-6 months for the whole processing and so on.

All the Best to us ALL..

It all depends on an individual case bases as i always said. Below is a forum member that applied in May 2012 to Ottawa and has already got his PPR and even landed.

I hear you but if you look at the vast majority of applicants whom their applications are being processed inside Canada you'll realize that you are being too optimistic if you are expecting PPR before March 2013.

Hello people ,
I need some help answering this question ...
I applied outside of canada to CIO and my Visa Office is London CHC .. My CC just got charged last week (4th of Dec 2012)and am expecting AOR and MR but I need to travel for about 2 months out of the UK to another country ... Can I do my medicals else where with one of the accredited Doctors and send to London from where I am or it is not possible ?

Honest feedback pls

Hello Babakura,

from experience, you will receive your AOR anytime soon, but MR may not come immediately. I got my MR after a month of receiving AOR, so dont bother yourself. You can take your trip outside the UK and come back in 2 months and still meet up with your medicals......I assume it is advisable you conduct your medicals in your country of residence (UK), so as not to compound issues.

Cheers and all the best.

Hi babakura,

The medical can be taken in any country in the world, as long as the doctor completing the exam is a CIC panel physician. The full list of doctors can be found at the following link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx

I got this meaasage from my representative.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Sarayu.
