RPRF 8 Apr 2013
Nothing after that.Ecas says app received.
MP says its in process.
Looks like the wait is on for me indefinitely
Had to extend work permit as well.

I have the same status on ECAS "application received" yet CIC says my application is in process...so waiting...

Congratulations to all who got PPR!!! So Bahia and Rickross for today- not bad. Let me put a cherry on the top, another two of my friends got PPR. One April 30 another, let me hear the drum beat.........May 1.yes I am not joking he was a may applicant.
Now I have a question to all those who landed.were you ever asked the address where to send your PR card, or did they just take it from the records. The first person that I mentioned that got PPR is landing tomorrow, her address is different than the one on her file. She is renting a postal office box. Now when she does the landing will she be asked to provide an address????

That's wonderful news. Hearty Congratulations to you and your family. As you see my profile, my file is "In Process" since Sept 05, 2013. Any idea how long it's still gonna be to get my PPR? I am also in US on H1B visa status and my 6 years is getting over by Feb 2014. Really worried whether we will get thru before Feb or not.

Hey Bro..
Thank you for your wishes.

It took roughly 4 months from In-process to PPR...keep in mind this was a time where the federal workers went on strike as well.

Hence your PPR date might be really close to your H1B Expiry date.. mainly because of the average processing time that we are seeing on lot of applications. However, you may be lucky as well...as some of them are receiving PPR's (with timelines like you). There are couple of things you can do.. pay RPRF, send personal history and request updates once every month or two.


I am hoping you will make it though. I wish you nothing but the best...and i have a feeling you will get your PPR in time for your transition.
