Tracking PNP April 2012 application to CIO (Nova Scotia)

They just recently changed the timescale for QSW to 19 months. Before that it was 2 months less than PNP. And they stick with it for the backlog files.

No argument here. It is just people get excited over nothing. We should all be outraged that they lie to our faces and nobody can do a sh.t. The priority will be given to applications received before fbruary 28-remember the message? Well I kind of can't see it. The are reviewing February 2013 for crist sake

I know like me all if u lost hope and frustrating.
Even they don't know what they doing,
Last email I got From Ottawa 3 week back says giving priority to November 2011 applicants,
I am actually march12applicant, paid fees in march13 processing from April 5
No news after that, now prying for all jan and feb applicant to get their pr
So I get some hope.

Hopefully I won't take that long! mine change to in process late June and paid RPRF mid may this year.

We gotta do something people here.We might have a better chance with the new minister.Otherwise they will just forget about us.Come on.Send the petition to them either by mail or email or whatever.They stopped processing us.What the hell??????If we dont do anything than we will be stuck for another year

Just to update you --
If you can remember in the second week of June I had a request from CPP to send my passports- they followed it up with another email asking me to send not only mine and my dependants passports
I posted the passports on the 15th of June and 2 days later I got an email from CPP stating that it was a mistake and that they do not require my passports at that time
I retorted that I had to cancel my vacation bcos CPP asked for passports and spoke to my local MP as well--
Another week later I got an email from Ottawa apologising for their error and they promised to expedite the PR process. True to their word they really fast tracked my application and posted my COPR last week
Looks my long journey which started in Feb 2012 with the Provincial nomination application has finally ended

Good for you Ram. I was trying to imagine how unhappy I would be. At least they turned it into a positive... seems hard to believe that they showed some sort of compassion, however late.

So guys is it only me who wants to receive ppr and outraged by CIC discrimination?We gotta do something.We have our petition which is a huge advantage for us.March applicants have been in process for more than 4 months.Let alone people who applied in april and may.With the new minister they wil just forget about the backlog.He will want to show an even faster processing times at our expense.If we dont raise our voices they will start reviewing March 2013,april,may 2013.This is unacceptable!!!!!!The government is lying to our faces.send the petition to CIC ottawa,new ministers office,MPs whoever you want. cant do it by myself,i wont do it by myself
