I wrote to every major newspaper in the country, explaining our situation.I encourage everyone to do the same.Aren't you frusterated that they are reviewing november 2012, and forgot about you.We can do it only together.I dont do it just for myself but for you too. Here is what i wrote:

Dear Sir or Madam

Our voice can only be heard through your understanding, since any communication with the government has proven futile.
We are Buffalo Apllicants who have been neglected by Case Processing Pilot- Ottawa. Some of the people have been waiting for more than 2 years, meanwhile Ottawa is Issuing passport requests for visa stamping to people who applied just a couple of months ago. Ottawa has not adhered to any timeline they set, let alone the fact that they changed it 4 times in 2012, leaving people guessing as to their fates.
Is this how the government redeeming itself for creating such a massive backlog, making people spend countless efforts and money to:
- Maintain the legal status in Canada, constantly renewing work permits,
-redo medical examinations (which is quite an expense in big families),
-forego the joy of being with the loved ones
-wait, wait, wait...
You are our only chance to bring light to this issue. Thousand of people are stuck in the limbo, while the CIC is processing others. It makes us feel like 2d sort of immigrants.
We beg you to help us and conduct investigation.
Thank you in advance
Yours Faithfully

Did anyone meet with their MP ?

I schedule an appointment with the MP 's assistant next week . hopefully can reflect what we are seeing and the injustice back to ottawa.

Or this is pointless?

They might say some cases take longer than usual.....tell them it's not only you and many other ppl in same boat...another thing don't forget to tell ppl who have applied in Oct/Nov 2012 have got PPR's...explain whole situation....I hope it will make some difference...

if thats the case i will be really disappointed . because whats the point set up an appointment and bring in all the document and just end up telling me nothing they can do for me.

I m just giving u head's up....that's the stuff they usually tell to everyone...

On "Les oublies de Buffalo en action" facebook page, an april 2012 applicant received a PPR request

Its pretty obvious that they are letting QSW go ahead of PNP.So i wouldnt count it as a good sign. When sb with PNP gets PPR then we should all start getting our hope back up)

I was just having lunch with my other friend.
He handed in his PNP to the province in last aug. then cic in Oct. got Medical request in Dec. Now he recently got the PPR last week .
I AM SHOCK hearing his timeline. its like WTF!
Same BCPNP with same job title. ( we are both reporters)

A friend of my mine who applied on the 27 of April got his PPR last Thursday.he saw all these people getting personal histories requested, RPRF and so on. Since he paid his RPRF at the time he applied, he took the initiative to send his personal history without getting a request for it. Guess what? Three days later he got PPR. I presume they don't care which month you applied in. I'll be doing the same thing this Monday. Just wanted to instill some hope in you folks.
