Hi moderators for April 2012 application to CIO track sheet, kindly add me. I sent my application to CIO and according to my EMS tracking, it was delivered to CIO Nova Scotia on April 20, 2012 but I think it still went to their drop box since I used EMS. Until now, the PF has not yet been credited yet. I used my friends credit card. Is it really necessary to inform the bank about the credit card transaction to be made by the Canadian embassy? I'm kind of hesitant to tell my friend to do so ;D. Iv'e read that some applications were returned due to technical problems with the credit card (Any thoughts about this?). Thanks and God bless us all!

By the way, my visa office is Manila Philippines, under MPNP General Stream. Thanks

candidgirl,
i called the credit card people and let them know beforehand about the charge.
if they reject the charge, immigration may return or delay your application by 1-2 months.
good luck!!

Candidgirl welcome to the thread.

I will add you to the TS and I will strongly advise you inform your bank about the CC. I also used my brother's CC but I asked inform to inform his bank and make a note on the systems regarding the transaction given them the amount. You should get aor any moment from now going by the trend on the TS. The reason why they returned some applications was simply due to the fact that when CIC try to debit such CC, the destination banks did not honour the transaction as the amount may be above the threshold allowed by them. So just ask your friend to tell them rather than facing delay in your application. All the best

Moh614, do you already have aor-CIO?

Hi all,

I noticed on my aor there was no mention of my VO. They only mentioned your application has been forwarded to a VO. For those that have aor can you check if they mention your VO? I am just wondering I know it doesn't matter anyway and BTW wondering what my VO will send to me, medical+ppr may be? laugh

Thanks moh614 and believing for the advice. I just told my friend to inform the bank and I hope she called the bank today. I hope everything will be fine and I will receive a good news next week.

And thanks for adding me to the spreadsheet.

Hi believing,

My aor did not indicate where my application was forwarded as well. I assume it's the vo you mentioned on your IMM 0008. Regarding the next stage, some people got the mr+rprf+ppr request separately or together. I think processing at the vo is carried our on a case by case basis.

Regards.

Hi all,

I am very interested in this topic.

All kinds of applications are processed in the same or different queue? Because there are different kinds of applications such as Business PNP, Skilled Worker PNP, Family PNP...

Thanks,

D
