Hi Edmontonbound

They returned my papers received it May 5, 2012. There is one lacking document that I overlooked Additional Family Information IMM 5406 on "spouse". I have a question. Did you print a new generic application form when you resend yours? They gave a me UCI number in hand writing. On the first page of generic application there is a red stamp stating (CIC Sydney April 4, 2012 CIO Mailroom, that has been cross out). Do I need to print a new clean page 1 of gen. application? Also, there's a hand writing in my LOA VO was Buffalo. Thanks please advise

@Chanselay...sorry to hear that. Whatsoever you decide to do may the Lord guide you. Although I did not have experience in terms of a returned application but one thing I know is certain if you are not certain of anything as regards your submission you can always add a seperate page (sheet of paper) outlining whatever decision you take or call the CIC to get clarifications. For example people submitting their application without a particular form or document will state it on a different paper reason(s) why they did not attach such and likewise I think if you decided to submit a new form 0008 you put both the new and the old together and indicated your UCI number on the form since you now have one. Don't that the UCI no is a unique one to you specifically and they will enable them to identify you knowing they will have some sort of journal entry regarding your application and then take it up from there rather than doing what they need to do all over again. This is just a common sense. All the best

Sad to hear that, dont stress at all, just complete a new IMM 5406, make sure you declare all known family members this time. Even if they are ex-spouse and their location is unknown, and also not accompanying you to Canada. If you prefer, you may complete a whole new generic form, but it would be wise to attach them together with the returned & marked ones, this will indicate your application journey to any cic officers. Keep a copy of your UCI, although i am not aware that cic issue client ID for incomplete applications. Ensure that you have copies of all documents & forms you return to cic. If any question or information is unclear ask cic. If you have additional information, use extra A4 pages to write them, but do not include any documents or forms not listed on the checklist. Take care man & Goodluck to you.

Indeed sorry to hear that. But don't worry. Everything will be just fine.
When they returned my application package, they have stamped and wrote a UCI number as well. But in a separate letter they have mentioned that 'SINCE YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT COMPLETE YOUR BANK DRAFT HAS NOT BEEN ENCASHED AND NO RECORDS OF YOUR APPLICATION HAVE BEEN RETAINED' .
So, I resent a completely new application package. I mean all the forms I typed again, signed and sent. This time tough make sure you send everything. 3 things you check for sure:
1. Make sure your application package is complete as per the check list
2. You have signed where it is required
3. Include the correct amount of payment.

As per your LOA, did you send the original? If yes, then resend the stamped LOA.
Good luck.

Yes it is exactly the same what you said that is written to my returned package. I will print a new one again for the signature and date. Also, I will attached the draft on the first page of the generic form since it has the initial of the officer. Thank you for your help.

Hey house,

I'm a little unclear about the way the application to CIO (NS) works as I'm expecting my PNP nomination pretty soon.

I understand my nomination would be forwarded to NS but would it also be forwarded to my visa office at the sme time or would it be after CIO has done its review.

Who issues MR? And where is payment made, to VO or CIO or both?

Please help so I can start preparing. Many thanks!

Chosen,
<b>I advise to PRINT and READ through 'how to apply' instructions carefully before you apply to Sydney, NS.</b>
-I THINK it's all in the computers, so both will have access to it.
-9/10 members got MR fom VO.
-1st payment(PR fees) to CIO and 2nd payment(PPRF/landing fees) to VO.
<b>Have your police clearance and photos ready, so you can apply soon after you get your nomination.</b>
Good luck!!

Thanks Speedtex. I already resend the application as of today. CIO will receive it on Monday, May 14, 2012. By the way guys can you check your status on ECAS via UCI number? Thanks

You are indeed correct application should firstly be forwarded to the CIO, NS of course ensuring that your applications forms are sign and complete. One can't over emphasis on you going over the forms over and over again before submitting. I paid both amount at the same time and I am just waiting for the aor from NS. All the best
