Hey Guys,

I know very soon we shall be planning to park and head to Canada...which seriously is a little bit scary and great at the same time if you are not already leaving there yet. Scary in the sense that is like one is leaving certainty for something you dont know. Do we have any of you who although applying for PR but already leaving in Canada to give on the ground experience such as work, school for kids, health care etc? Sometimes it is just soothing to hear first hand info.

Thanks

hahah.. good one .. na.. doesnt affect processing time, coz, in my case I had only paid processing fees at the time I sent my file to CIO, and after that I got aor from CIO, then AOR from VO and last week got my MR PPR and and request for RPRF as well, until your status shows in process, they do not work on your file.. basically it doesnt make any difference, but as per the website, they recommend you to pay only processing fee now and later on when they request for RPRF you should pay for it, requesting for RPRF is more or less like getting a confirmation on your PR (or so ive heard )

Congrats ASJ & Stuart on your aor. Super good news as we all expected. Enjoy your weekends both. To those still waiting, hang in there good news is coming.

Hey believing, you are on point! There is a thread about life in Canada after PR application success, on the home page titled: AINP landing experience & post landing related activities. Hope that helps.

If anyone has more information, please share. Thanks

No. They won't advise you if they have received your application. Now, they will check your package fir completeness and charge your cc (credit card) or encash your bd (bank draft). Usually takes 3 to 4 weeks. This is an indirect way of knowing that your application is now ready to process. You will get your official acknowledgement of receipt (AOR) after about 6 weeks your application was delivered at CIC,

thank you edmontonbound, by now im waiting for 3-4 weeks for the AOR :)

It will surely come...we are all praying now fo you. But I seriously believe that they have encashed your draft. BTW did you indicate email or snail mail in your application cos that could be a factor in terms of getting responses from CIO
Yes. I did indicate my email address to my generic application form IMM 0008. Thanks
Is it possible that you will receive snail mail even though you indicated email address?

Thats weird - my application seems taking longer than everyone else :( and I am living/working in BC too...... what can i do ? :'( :'(

STREAM : BCPNP Strategic Occupations
application recieved @ CIC : 12th Mar 2012
Credit card Payment Date : 10th April 2012
AOR : No sign of it yet :(
VO : Sydney , Nova Scoita

Just a silly question. How do you know that the draft have been encashed ?
I have made draft from RBC, Canada

I guess from the source bank, you have to check with them if they have encashed it. I believe that is what I have seen with many responses on the forum.

Guys,

Received email from CIO today - 4th May, they have started processing. The draft was charged on 3rd may as per the email. Please add to the track sheet.

One thing I could not understand I applied to MPNP under Family Stream but the email came from FSW-centralized_intake-office @ Cic.gc.ca i.e Federal Skilled Worker dept as the mail mentions.

Thanks & good luck to those who have not yet received email yet. You will soon receive one:)

Thanks believing....i wish you and all others who is waiting for their AOR receive it soon...As your fees is encashed that means your application is correct and complete so no need to worry. :)

ASJ

Congratulations ASJ and your AOR was fast we are still waiting although money has been encashed

Hi Guys.

I hope you are all well rested and looking forward to a brilliant and perfect week fill with AORS and encashment ;D. Have a lovely week!
