The flurry of activity on everyone's ECAS prompted me to check my status. Lo and behold, a test invite for November 18th. The official invitation should come by regular post. Things are moving at a good pace.

Checked this thread few minutes ago and the latest updates from Calgary applicants prompted me to check my ECAS. Lo & behold I saw this....'We sent you a notice on October 23, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on November 18, 2015 at 9:00 AM'.... I am yet to receive the test invite in the mail though.

Any GTA applicants getting the test invites (Scarborough center)? Application for my kids and wife had been in Process since 26th August. No word yet from Scarborough/CIC.

App received on 9th June
AOR on 5th August
In Process from 26th August.

Separate.

Interviews are conducted at the counters. I believe you and your family members will be called at separate counters for interview.

The invitation letter, normally list the documents you need to carry with you.

Carry required original documents, passport (s) current and previous since you landed in Canada, Landed Certificate, PR card,
Driving License if you have, SIN and Health Card, last 4 years taxes filed, tenancy contract, bank statements, utility bills for address.

The interview is very easy, officer ask to verify your name, address, date of landing, job etc......nothing complicated, straight forward.

Arrange all in order, clearly labelled to present upon asking.

No! CIC will get the report from CBSA.

CIC officers that will be conducting the interview normally do have the CBSA reports, however, it is advisable for you to go along with your copy also in case the officer need some clarification about passport stamps or your exit history.
