Hello All.. my second application delivered today and signed by D.LEWIIS . the estimate time for fedex was on 10-june- today in the morning they changed it to 5 pm. and now it is delivered. exactly 24 hours. they were so good. hope good luck for everyone

Hello Friends,

I completed 1095 days on 5th June. Sent the application through Purolator on 8th June and it has reached today, signed by Mike. Now the wait begins. Some folks are saying that there will be lots of scrutiny which will slow down the 'good' applications. Lets see how it goes. Best of luck to everyone !!

I tried updating the tracking sheet but was giving me some connection error. Will again later.

Hi All, a quick question I became eligible for citizenship on 3rd of June but I haven't applied yet. if I send my application today will it be affected by new rules?

You still have time to print another application and to catch a flight and submit it tomorrow from a local currier. You can spent a little bit more money, but it is very important for you to apply under the old rules.

You can take a small loan if you don't have enough disposable income now.

The time is ticking.

I have money no problem. But i have work today and its a job i can ditch and leave.
I just need to pray Fedex makes it earlier than the anticipated time

Just went online to check the tracking on the fedex site. Says my application will arrive June 10 around 5 pm. Really?? Im so worried now that their office is closed by then and they wont get it till June 11 now. So worried..

What is the current location of the package? Quebec or NB? I will suggest that you contact the UPS customer service concerning that. Sending another application on a next flight will cost you about $500 @ least depending on your location.

Oh alright. Then there is a high chance that it might be delivered earlier than scheduled. Mine got into NS around midnight last week and it was sent out 7:00am in the morning. Just call the customer service to be sure.

Well, if your application can arrive the CIC office in Sydney by June 10th before the closing of work then you will be fine, but if NOT then you will only be eligible to apply maybe NEXT YEAR. Fastest shipping depending on location might be around 300$ - 600$ so be aware of that.

Just sent in my application today. Should arrive in Sydney- NS by Wednesday morning( june10) at the latest. Fingers crossed for everything to go well. Hopefully i get AOR and i can relax a bit after that. Thanks to everyone for your help in answering questions and querries.

How much time does it usually take from application received to acknowledgment of receipt? Through other threads, i quite not get the idea because in some case they get the AOR within a week and in some the take about 35 to 40 days. And there is nothing on the web site that i found unlike other categories where we actually can check on what date of application they are working on.
