Wahoo. NOBODY predict tht it will be this early. They did not even wait till June 19th. Well, good luck to everyone who had the chance to apply and also to people who didn't. I just would have preferred if pre PR days were counted.

I sent my application last month, I will provide any information I have regarding the application. My application was received also on June 4th. But now I realized that I make some errors on filling the application form, I left question 5.B blank, cause my mailing address is the same as my home address, second one is the question 6.F, I filled it in the form of 2014-01 to 2015-06, somebody said it should be filled as 2014-01 to present. How did you do for those two questions? Thanks

I did exactly as you did and my application is now on process.

They won't send back the application for small details.

5B I left it blank as it clearly mentions "If different from mailing address" and for 6F I wrote "Present". Don't worry Its fine.

I had the same understanding of question 5B as you, because it mentions "If different from mailing address". But some people said if it does not apply to you, you should put N/A. For 6.F, I don't know when the office will open the file and send an AOR, if it's in June, it should be Ok, if it's in july or august, I don't know if they will consider this as empty period. I signed my application dated in June, the present should be consider the date of signature even an office open your application in July, isn't it ? Anyway, your message ensure me a little, the news about the new law coming into force makes me nervous !

New Law is Sad news for those who are preparing their documents for application & specially PR card holders who came on student visa or working permit .In old law day before came PR considered half day now before PR card days will not consider.

New Law is Sad news for those who are preparing their documents for application & specially PR card holders who came on student visa or working permit .In old law day before came PR considered half day now before PR card days will not consider.

I really don't know why the previous years of PR were not included with the new bill. The deeds have been done and there is nothing we can do about it.

There are so many conditions & rules in this bill which are not understandable.
