Tracking June 2015 Citizenship Application - Please Share your Timeline

Had the test and officer informed me in the end that the RCMP is in progress, once confirmed no criminal record will be able to approve. Is it normal to have RCMP still in progress at the time of the citizenship test?

RCMP clearance is routine process takes few months. Possibly due to increased work load owing to refugee's work it got delayed.

If its already in progress you should expect it to be done soon. Wish you all the best.

Welcome to the forum, as some of us here are quite ancient. Thanks to the CIC lethargic processing, till recently they were taking 4 years.

Some of us on this forum been waiting for about 4 years and then re-applied. Yet some helplessly waiting for application submitted in 2012.

Yes,all new applicants are really very lucky, things are moving so fast. I'm really happy, they dont have to go through the torture.....

My VO is Kitchener. Total time is only 5 months.

I applied in June. Order ATIP, it will give you a more in-depth information about your file.

I did, and received ATIP on Dec 4, everything is NOT Start, except Criminal said pass. Don't know why it take so long, I am so upset.

Congratulations! You may be the first one to have oath among the new applicants. My application was submitted in July and I only just had my test a few days ago.

Hello everyone,

I am wondering why my application is still in process!! I applied for the citizenship from Mississauga on June 10, my application went in process on Sep. 10 and since then it has not changed. Am I the only one whose file is still in-process?
