Congratulations on going "In Process". As you might have seen via different citizenship forum, CIC will notify you mostly via postal mail for you to come for a TEST. Although most applicants especially from Vancouver reported to have received their notification via email. The advice is that you start studying asap as you don't know when it might be.

Thank OJ for your prompt response. I'll start reading the book now.

did you try contacting CIC? what they are saying?

I sent Letter to CIC with my fedex delivery confirmation and payment receipt and they replyied yesterday that i can confrim that yr application was received and soon it will be in process and we will send you email at that time. Looks like they have not opened my application yet. i don't know ahy?

I have a question to the experienced and knowledgeable folks here. I plan to be out of the country from December 13th to January the 3rd. How can I ensure that I dont get called up for Citizenship test during this period?

My file is in process since 25th Aug 2015. any rough idea and guess that what are the timing we wud be looking at? I mean should people expect it in sept, oct or nov? someone says oath in 2 to 5 months.. that's a lot of time for oath..?

Could you please give me some advice on getting ready to the test and interview?

Citizenshipcounts.ca is a great website. try, ace the test with %100 X 10 times.
And I suggest you to read the Discover Canada booklet at least once. I did not read it and there were some questions was not on the website.

Interview is not something that you need to worry, she checked my dates, asked me simple things about my work and life in Vancouver. most likely it was a everyday conversation with someone you meet first time.

Mine was (theoretically) at 8:02 AM. By 10 AM I was just leaving the building after my interview, so there's no chance we bumped into each other, heh.
