Test invite - sometime in december? :(

Wish you all the best. Apparently Vancouver is leading the pack in fast processing, then comes Calgary, then comes Winnipeg and others Visa Offices. Probably, all Ontario locations are the slowest among all.

I agree, its long time since your "Decision Made" date. Normally its take few weeks after that stage. Possibly its matter of scheduling especially with so many cases been approved it might be causing Oath scheduling nightmares.

Wish you all the best, you might be getting it in a week or so.... ;D

What is tje worst that could happen after taking and passing the test?
Are there any chance that they might still ask for some additional documents?
Such as fingerprints or medical?

Thanks!

Ojeola, how was ur test? How did it go?

Once you test has been completed they will just run some few FINAL checks then you will be invited for the oath. Since you are consistent in your application then you should be fine. @Dexter1975 my test is next week Tuesday will let you all know how it goes. All the best to everyone.

Basically, CIC would verify details from application and feed back from interview conducted after the test, if the original doc's and travel history matches with the initial application etc.

Then, comes scheduling for Oath depending upon the available slots.

In your case, could be just the timing, the holiday season, things got pushed and hopefully you can expect something in coming weeks.

Based on the operational manual, after the oath, they do crosscheck some few information with CBSA once that is done your application will be place in line for oath invitation depending on you Visa office's work rate. *Based on my knowledge and that of the CIC operational manual*

Hi Friends,

I am a June applicant. I will taking few weeks off in Feb and will be going out of Canada. Some of you have informed CIC of your upcoming vacation. My ecas status is 'In Process' and I have applied from Mississauga.

To which CIC address should I send the letter informing about my vacation. I am not sure where to send it.

thanks,

I know, from what I heard from the previous applicants, within 2 months after their exams they already had their oath .. I don't know what happened lately.. but of course tried calling them as usual they will say have to wait for 3-5mos..

You may check on CIC website or check with the Call Center. I guess, the CIC offices, Citizenship Test Center in Mississauga is the main processing center for that area. Its advisable to send CIC a registered mail informing them about your travel plan and inform agents too.
