CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH BELOW
HOW TO APPLY FOR GIC SCOTIA BANK. WHILE I HAVE ACCOUNT IN RBC CANADA. HOW I WILL MAKE PAYMENT FROM RBC CANADA TO SCOTIA BANK.
hello everybody. Can anyone guide me how to apply for GIC to scotia bank. while i have account in canadian bank rbc. and how i will get GIC certificate? will it be in PDF formate>

Firstly, you have to visit nova Scotia bank website and apply for gic account online. Fill out all the details ditto same as your passport. Then the bank will email you secure server login access. Open your email and go to given link and register yourself with same email address which you used previously. They will send your nova Scotia bank account number and instructions in secure email server. Its very important that the money should go from student own account not from parents or any others. For your concern about RBC canada account, i must say that if the account under your own name then call nova Scotia bank to confirm that can you transfer money from rbc to nova Scotia or not. The toll free number available on website and they will guide you on call.

hi, i read the instructions of GIC SCOTIA BANK . and clearly says that deposit should come from student personal account. if it paid by any other account. it will be rejected. so my question is that, should student have account in canadian dollars? and any currency?

Yes , It should go from students own account. You can use your local bank to make a wire transfer to novascotia bank. You can use any currency, make sure to send enough money, your gic should show $10,000 cad. There is $200 cad fee for wire transfers. Your local bank and novascotia bank details should be ditto same as per your passport like name and address.
