I got a ghost update on thursday and disappear now. Earlier I called IRCC and the rep told me as of the time I spoke to him my card was in production. The update is gone now but nothing yet
What is ghost update anyway and I'm curious to know who coined the name'ghost update'

You're probably describing a "ghost update" ..so that's when the status changes to "updated" then u click on it there's no actual change in status and it returns back to "submitted" .. usually denotes a movement in the application and in the case of a PR card application probably means it will be approved soon... hopefully within a week maybe

As to who coined this phrase?? Someone who has a great interest in the paranormal perhaps

On which number did you call IRCC to get an update on your PR card application? Even I got ghost update but haven't seen any movement in CIC account for a week now.

Noone can tell u that... u have to go by date on ur profile...usually its same day they landed..

This is was for another question u asked landed or updated yhing...
Yes u can call ircc and know exactly where it is, ghost update means in production and usually 2-10 days u get approved..
I am hopin u filled ur pr application urself my frn and if u did.. its right der ircc call centree.
But u can call only inside canada or with canadian number... just google ircc help number — its 888-242-2100... now some agents are like wait blab blah.. but i can tell ya ghost update good news

Follow the instructions and choose the option that apply to Pr cards and prepare to wait for 25-30 mins to get a human on the phone
