Now when i get my pr card???
Maybe 5 business days but it depends on if canada post are working or not. There are some holidays like the new year for example so i think you will get it by next thursday or friday depending of where you live
Can anyone provide an estimate on PR Card approval after re-submission of photos? My timeline:
Oct.9 - Became a PR. PR Card application submitted by CIC Agent.
Dec.5 - Received request for new photos.
Dec.7 - New photos taken + sent with regular mail.
It has been about 3 weeks now, though with the holidays I understand pace has dropped a bit. I still really hope to get my PR card soon, as I find myself unable to do many things (travel, obtain Driver's License, apply for Credit card, take certain classes) without a PR Card. I'm sorta in an ID-less situation, with my previous Work Permit invalidated but not having any Canadian IDs (a PR Landing document rarely is accepted as such).

Called cic todAy and no update on my PR Card. landed Nov 3. (54 days) Submitted inquiry on cic webform and replied that since i updated my mailing address on the 23 of November, the processing time will start on the day i updated my address. And this was not mentioned to me when i called the cic twice last week. And im leaving on Saturday. Getting frustrated.

Wonder if it is okay to call them to ask about my status on a regular basis (such as, once a week?) Because I have no access to my file since my account is being handled by my immigration consultant.
The only way to know whether it is approved or not is to call and ask to CIC. When I called 2 weeks ago, the agent told me I got a photo request for myself so I submitted the new photo and according to the tracking note, they received my photo a week ago. I really wonder if my new photo is okay now. I am going to my home country in mid January.
