I cant link my application to cic account how did you checked it?

I landed in Ottawa. Linked my application within a week of landing. It's easy finding it with UCI if you remember rest of the info.

Hi can you please tell me how we can see PR card status??

You can link your PR Card on your cic account. You can use your application number or UCI. If this will not work, you can use your family name, date of birth, etc. Please take note to use the format written in the CoPR so that you will link the paper successfully

Waiting to receive PR card

One question - My wife's application still has no update. It still shows as "Submitted". We got a photo request for both around the same time, sent the photos in the same mail, so ideally the approval should also be happening around the same time, right? What are other people's experience on this?

Guys, any help with my question? Anyone else faced a similar situation?

Processing on each file is different. Even if you send same time or land same day

Hi, guys, I landed in Canada Jul 26, 2018 as an outland applicant and provided my address on Aug. 2. It seems that most people are getting their PR card something short of 2 months (except in cases where there is a request to resubmit a photo).

So in my case, does the processing time count only after I provided my address online? And what is 'ghost update', btw? I currently see no information about PR card when I login to my account online - it just has past information about the various stages of the PR application that I had gone thorugh.

Also, will the photo be the one that is on my COPR?

Sorry I'm not too familiar with the topic someone please enlighten me. Thank you.

Is it possible to leave Canada while waiting for the delivery of the PR card? I heard that they have installed a bio metric system at the airports and hence your exit will be detected by CIC and this might end up stalling the processing of your PR card. Is this true?
