On 17th July, my profile was updated saying that the PR Card application is approved.

What dated package they are working on for the photo request? did anyone check?
There is no way to check unless u call IRCC. I believed someone mentioned May 18th when they inquired yesterday. Summer is landing peak time and it might be delay in issuing brand new or photo request PR card.

Guys,

I landed on 18 June 2018 and still no update....
I was able to link application online, but still shows submitted....
Anyone landed in June and got application updated or approved or received new photo request????

The average processing time has increased drastically because of the huge influx during the summer months. It will be about 2-3 months before we see any progress.
Thanks for your response. I saw that they have increased the average processing time from 58 days to 61 days. I have also seen people landed during last week of May and first week of June started getting updates. Is it good to contact IRCC before 61 days have been passed?

What category are you? FSW-Inland , FSW-Outland, etc..
When I check the average processing time for first PR Card at canada.ca, it is mentioned as 61 days. But when I had called IRCC last week, the IVR mentioned it as 113 days.

As for your query, you can call and ask for the status anytime. Generally, you will see some updates around 15days prior to the avg. time period.

I am in FSW-Outland category. So the 113 days processing time is only for FSW-Outland or overall across all categories?

Oh man. That's a big delay. I think in that case I need to wait till September.
It is what it is. All we can do is wait.
