I have the same situation
Me and my wife got approved while the 2 kids are still in progress. Didnt receive a photo request neither. It is 65 days now since landing

Have been in a same situation. Both me and my wife landed at the same time on Jan 29. My wife's one was approved March 8 and arrived 14, while mine is still in process. No photo request so far. Neither CSE nor call center helps.

Thanks alot - is it ok if a family member called for me to ask about the application status because I am outside Canada now?

I'm not sure , since I've always called myself . The agent will ask for personal information (full name , date of birth , country of birth , address ) to confirm you identity at the beginning of the call . Hope that helps

Question for you:

1. is there why your photograph needs to be re-submitted? I took mine in London Drugs.
2. does your MyCIC status for PR Card application changed from submitted ---> approved directly? (Is there any intermediate status in between)

I landed March 11 in YVR airport, myCIC shows submitted. No update yet.

1. They didn't mentioned and specific reason why my photographs were rejected the first time , they just said that they didn't comply with the guidelines. I had my photographs taken at London drugs both times,altought the second time I choose to go to a different store. I think the photographer from the first location didn't have enough experience and that's why the photographs weren't right, but the staff from the second location seemed really familiar with the process.

2.My status changes:

"The additional documents you provided are being reviewed”: Feb 18
New photographs request: Feb 21st
Photographs delivered: Feb 26
"We do not need additional documents"- Feb 27
Application approved : March 19

I just got a letter in mail asking for new photos for my kids. That is weird as i was expecting such request to be in an email not in regular mail. They even sent an empty envelope with the address in Sydney on it to send the photos in.

No, my status never changed back to "the additional documents you provided are being reviewed" after I submitted a new set of photographs, it remained as "we do no need additional documents" until my application got approved.

Sorry to bug you again. When I landed in YVR airport, the officer didn't ask for photos. But they took one of the COPR away. I think that one has a photo on it.

Does it mean "they have a photo"?
