The visa officer will have no reason to deny you a PRTD because you will still be able to meet the 730 day residency obligation within 5 years of becoming a PR.

However, if you have your PR card mailed to you, you won't need a PRTD in the first place unless you need to return to Canada before receiving your PR card.

In my opinion, you have nothing to worry about.
Is it 730 days or 3 years??

You have to be present in Canada for 730 days, or 2 years of every 5. I wouldn't cut it that close however, as you'll want to allow yourself additional time for traveling, of if you need to leave the country due to family emergency or something. 2.5 years is probably a safer idea than being absent for 3.

The counter of 61 days restarts from zero if photos are requested. Since photos were asked from me, I assume it should be within 61 days now. My landing date is 02-Jul.

How long did it take for your pr card processing?

Thank you..

My Spouse sent her photos early september and got her PR Card late last week.

Hi,

Is your application still in progress. Normally what I read in this forum within 3-4 days of status "Documents being reviewed" it changes to approved. Hoping yours get approved today. :)
