No, But what I heard is that the photos are not manually processed. They are scanned by a machine/computer and then if accepted fine or else they send email for new set of photographs.

oh, then it's probably because of the size or specifications of your photo

Hi,
My wife's case is below.
Landed - 14th Aug at Pearson Airport
Photo submission request - 4th Oct (Sent photo the same day)
Photo received by IRCC - 6th Oct
PR card - waiting

Actually she will be travelling outside Canada on 24th Nov, hoping to get card before that. Applying PRTD seems difficult as she would be away for just 2 weeks and PTRD almost takes 10 working days.

Having to re-send photos really adding to the delay of getting the card. Others in this forum said once received a photo request, count another 2 mos. Hopefully we could get our PR card soon.. I keep my timeline posted once I received my card. But checking now, my application is still in progress.

my PR card was approved. me and my daughter got the PR card today.. but, didn't received for my wife. Is this normal? whether the PR cards are sent in different batches? any body faced situation like this.. if so, kindly reply..

Status changed to "reviewing documents": October 20, 2017
Approved in CIC Account: October 23, 2017

No request for additional photos, shockingly.

Received PR card in the mail today: October 26th, 217

Yours was quick, may be because you didn't received any request to re-submit a photo. Mine was already 98 days..

Yes it takes sometime when cic asked for new photo.

Does CIC send an email if they want a new photo? I never got an email, but when I called them, the call center agent said you were sent a new photo request by snail mail. That doesn't make any sense as I always get email.

Log into your CIC account and click "Link an existing application" then choose "Permanent Resident Card." From there, chose how you want to identify yourself and answer the questions to match what your CoPR paperwork shows (especially when it comes to birth place).

It doesn't mean anything if you can't link. My case is an example. Landed on Aug 29, got PR card today Oct 26. I was never able to link.

Yes, please keep us posted. your documents status"The additional documents you have provided are being reviewed" gives hope that they are actually processing your photos. Hope it gets approved soon and you get your Card

Hello All

So we called today and cic agent confirmed that we need ti submit new photos.

He said that a request was sent to our agent on Oct 25. Now we have to get in touch with our agent to get the letter.

Can someone who received a photo request post the email that they received fron cic. That would be great
