Hello All,

People who did their landing in May 2017, any luck so far with the PR Card? I see the wait time decreased by 1 day and stands at 64 days as of today.

I landed on the 4th of May, 2017. My PR card was mailed out on the 10th of July, 2017 (I called CIC couple of minutes ago to find out). that's approximately 67days.

Hi guys,
we landed on 12th May. Today we called CIC, and they said our cards were sent to print yesterday. It seems they will arrive next week or so.

Cic told me my card was sent out ( not sure if that means sent to print or sent to address??) on june 30. Nothing yet landed on april 25th

Guys,

One thing you need to make sure is your address is correct on the file, when you call to a CIC agent for your PR card status.

There are chances the address might be different. Like in my case, I am through a IT company when I first entered Canada, when I called CIC few days back first time, they said I have the address of British Columbia, then I realized it was my company's attorney's address who dealt on my behalf for my WP extensions. Then I updated the address on my file by the agent and requested him the card should be on my home address at Ontario.

It seems during landing the address which you confirm that hardly gets updated or applicable for your PR card or may be for some cases.

"Landed" is a term used by applicants when they enter Canada as PR (new comers) or re-enter in Canada as PR (already in Canada). This action is necessary to activate your PR status once you receive immigrant visa and COPR.
