plan to land on jul 1st, but I want to travel outside of Canada around aug, but I'm sure my pr card wouldn't arrive so early.
and my re-entry visa was expire. so...I can not enter Canada with my copr right? and I have to wait for my pr card?
please advise

I think your other option is to land when you return to Canada from your trip. It's unlikely that you will have your PR card by the end of August as the current processing time is 57 days.

OK actually my PR card had arrived when I got home yesterday (06/13/2017).
Landed April 12th at Calgary and when I spoke to an agent on 06/06/2017 it hadn't even gone into production - surprised to receive it so quickly. I never could log in to my ecas account.
Hope everyone receives theirs soon!

Phoned CIC, card is in the production, nonetheless, they will send a request to look at it since 57 days passed.

Its a bit difficult to stay in Canada for 6weeks because of my current job. Is it possible to use a family friend's address, then return back to my home country without the PR card. Then ask a family friend to send the card via courier? Has anyone tried this?

Yes It is possibe. Even you can apply PRTD from your home country to re-enter Canada.

I am not sure about this. I guess it varies from Country to Country. I would guess 2-4 weeks Max.

Guys, I'm on temporary resident visa in Canada. I got my PPR and will be getting the CORP shortly. Since I need to visit my home country in August, can I do the landing when I come back from my home country at August end (as if I do the landing before, I won't get the PR card by August, blocking my travel to my hoke country). Also, I have applied under CEC and there is no need of POF. When I return from my home country to do the landing, will they ask POF to be shown. I think, I can show them the required documents that POF is not needed for CEC. Any advice on this is appreciated.
