Do you remember your SIN application number from when you applied online? I also applied 28th April and still waiting for my SIN letter.
They don't need application number you can call them and they will ask basic details and will be able to pull up your file and give update. Application number is mainly for postal applications my was online. Also mail took good 10 days.

@Vivir_Y_Aprender any updates? Am wondering if you heard back on your webform?
Off topic...Is your username inspired by that JD Salinger book 'Catcher in the Rye'? SO FUN!

Any how... no updates after webform :(

EERIE SILENCE as a usual norm we all face and is drilled into any PR applicant's system.

I think i will open a champagne bottle in Mid August only now... PR card should come by then.

Best of luck with your sanity to all this month... I am so happy things slowly opening up...

Indians here - see how lockdown 4.0 is allowing cabbies and autos... Canada can be back and active now...

I called SIN office today, and they told me that my application hasn't even been processed yet. This is so frustrating. They told me to call after 20 business days from application submission and only then we will be able to tell you anything regarding your application.

Everything is crazy these days, almost nothing has worked smoothly since the landing. Ah well, we all have to play the waiting game.

The processing time estimate is now 113 days, it was updated today.
Good news. At the same time, CIC extended the processing time estimate for PR card renewal/replacement to 248 days. Looks like they will continue updating the estimates on a weekly basis.

Looks like new PR cards are getting priority over renewals
