I mention very briefly my case with the intention that you can help me:
1. In December last year I was rejected by the VRT because of wrong dates on the forms and letter of invitation.
2. After knowing the reasons for rejection in the GSMS notes, I plan to reapply for the month of May with a travel date for the month of July 2023.
3. I have everything ready and prepared, except for the Affidavit of Host, for which I have a delivery date of May 18.

Here are my doubts and questions:

The reason for this request is that I am planning to travel to Canada on 17 July. Do you think that 60 days in advance would be enough time to apply for the visas?
My fear is that I will be denied visas because I have applied too late for the date of departure to Canada.
Have you seen or heard anything similar to my case?
Would those 60 days in advance be good enough to apply for a tourist visa from Ecuador?

I have faith that someone may have or has already heard of something similar. I look forward to your comments and support.
Thank you

Current processing times for Ecuador are over 200 days. IRCC doesn’t care when you want to travel so will still process application. Your file will not be expedited just because you want to travel in a few months. Do you have a US visa? If so it may be processed faster.

IRCC can issue visa even if the travel date has passed? That does affect the chances of refusal?
Of course. IRCC doesn’t worry about travel dates. If profile is strong, travel date should not factor in a refusal except for a conference maybe a wedding.

I had applied for my visa with travel dates in official summer vacations. I don't think I ll get my visa by then, was fearing that this reason might give me a refusal.
