I am a permanent resident of canada since 2011. My mother came from india on a tourist visa 4 months ago. Now I want to extend her visa for another six months in Canada. Do i need to buy a medical insurance for her tourist visa renewal. It is mentioned on the checklist to get medical insurance for one year for parents or grandparents. She is 72 years old.
