Toronto Subway sucks!!

Well, gentlemen, you have probably not seen Calgary public transit yet after which even the worst day in Toronto transit will seem like a vacation.
Half of a line here is closed often for 2-3 consecutive days due to construction works. Sometimes you board the train and after a few stations the conductor announces in an incomprehensible asian accent (I am asian too - no racism here, but rather dissatisfaction with his English level) that he will not go further. You get out of train to take a shuttle bus and after you board it you realize that the bus will not take you to the destination because they change routes depending on time, e.g. After 7 pm and in weekends many buses operate reduced routes. I am not even mentioning dozens of homeless on public transit filling the train with such a strong smell of marijuana that you need to wash your clothes three times to eliminate the smell.

Calgary transit was down for several days this month when underground fire left half of downtown with no power and people had to leave homes. So as you see, it cannot be worse than Calgary ;D

Come to Calgary for a day or two - and you will cry from happinness when you go back.
Apart from transit, power cuts are very common. My supervisor had no power for Several days because an unexpected snow fall in September broke quite a few trees which damaged power lines - schools were closed too.
Still having complaints about Toronto?
