Guys I will really appriciate for your great HELP ....waiting for your KIND advise..... Thanx

it will be up to you to decide based on a lot of factors,on one can say this city or another as its not a straight forward answer.
good luck :)

yes I agree with canadavisa13! both cities have their own advantages and disadvantages you have to weigh them according to your situation and decide.....
good luck to you.

Hi,

you may wanna put down a comparison sheet where you list all the below and start your search as per the below listed points "but not limited to":

-Jobs
-salaries
-Housing
-Utilities (Car insurance, etc...)
-Community (if of any interest)
-Schooling
-nature and weather

search about all the above, for instance if you need help as a newcomer and you have family or friends in Toronto who might be of any help to settle down, help you find a job or... you may want to think of Toronto as an option to settle. I guess deciding where to go and when is absolutely a personal choice based on some many factors primarily the one's listed above (personal view).

All the best luck :)

In a nutshell!

Toronto has the biggest basket for executive jobs while standard of living is high, but the high wages compensate for this. It has always been recommended for Newcomers that wanted to start earning right away. In addition, Medical Insurance don't start until after 3months.

Edmonton is second to Toronto in jobs(mostly practical/on field/hands-on)basket due to the huge, booming Oil and Gas sector there. You can try Fort Mcmurray, good jobs but very cold weather. Standard of living is very ok, next to Montreal. People are friendlier here and always wanting to help newcomers. In addition, Medical Insurance starts covering you as soon as it's been applied for and issued.

Calgary: Clean city, beautiful and very lively! There are many white collar jobs here and odd/survival jobs too if you immediately wanted to start working. Standard of living is a bit higher than Edmonton though. People are a bit stiff here; faces always high up minding their business so newcomers may face a little challenge here...

Hope this helps..
All the best!
