Toronto/GTA 2015 applicants

Hi all, i'm waiting for my AOR having applied from Toronto.
Does any of you counted pre-PR days when you were in Visitor or Implied status?
Counting pre-PR days in work permit seems straight forward. But what about when being in visitor status / implied status? Does that count?

Visitor and Implied status can also be counted towards Pre-PR time given you pllied under the old 3/4 rules. Please refer to following thread where this was discussed and input from some very experienced forum members.

Well folks I have been invited to write the test as per ECAS update today morning, still waiting for the mail.

We sent you a notice on August 21, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on September 8, 2015 at 1:30 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Any Toronto/GTA applicants from March 2015 onwards get a test invite yet? Or at least something aside from "In Process"? Strange I've heard nothing yet.

As I did not shift from even 'received' to 'in process' yet, there may be many who did not advance further from GTA. On 27th August it will be 5 months that my application had been received.

Also from Toronto. i haven no idea which office its been transferred to.


We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 18, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 12, 2015.
We started processing your application on June 1, 2015.
Your file was transferred to the office responsible for your area on June 5, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you.

I've seen many people receive their test dates already, and now i am in panic mode :'( *sigh*
