I did my PhD in microbiology and I am presently doing my 2nd post doctoral fellowship in the field of microbiology in USA. The NOC for postdoctoral fellow is 4011 (university professors and lecturers) and for Microbiologist its 2121 (Biologist and related scientist). Under ''Main duties'' given for 2121 and 4011 NOC's, all of my job descriptions are mentioned under 2121. I have the following question.
1. Which NOC should I write, 2121 which describes my job duties or 4011 which mentions my job title?
2. Is one NOC considered superior than the other (in my case is 2121 better than 4011)
3. If yes and I write 2121 instead of 4011 will there be an issue ?
