I agree, we also met online. We were both a little bashful of it and didnt even admit it to most of our friends for awhile. Then when we were preparing our package we of course had to decide what to do, we had hired a lawyer and he said you are better to put the site name down then to think that you are trying to hide anything. Just saying a dating website could apply to many things such as mail order bride dating sites, so its best to note the site, besides maybe the agent reading it wont even know what BDSM is lol

I also wouldnt black anything out, it shows a need to hide something. I do understand your fear of discrimination but damn if they are going to refuse you because you have a healthy sex life with the partner you are sponsoring, no matter what the sex life involves, then that is ass backwards. It would be straight up sexual discrimination and I dont think they would want to risk that. However I suppose it depends on the VO as well ...

Ha.. no way! My husband and I also met on a BDSM site.. maybe the same one? ::)

I was really wary about what to put on the question, where/how did you meet. We had the same reservations about judgements towards how we met. Our answer was probably too vague "a social networking site". I guess time will tell if that was the right/wrong answer. But my husband is prepared to go into more details during the interview (because I'm certain he will be asked for one).

We had pretty intimate chats on Skype and email, but since there were over 800+ logs and emails, I went through all of them and picked ones that show the development of our relationship and omitted the really intimate stuff. I wouldn't black things out because it may look suspicious, but if you omit certain details no one would even know.

Yay! We aren't alone then. :) I think I'm going to stick to we meet on a dating/social networking site. If they ask for specifics I will tell them which website exactly, but if not, oh well.
