There are really no tips you need, it's not tricky.
Be there on time, have a device with a working camera, and that's it.

It's a very smooth process - the only "challenge" is the wait time while ID doucments etc. are checked individually for all the candidates. So, make sure that you plan to be at the ceremony for 2 to 2 and a half hours.

Also, read the email carefully and keep all your documents ready. Remember to also have a pair of scissors on hand as you will be asked to cut your PR card in front of the camera.

Congratulations and good luck!

1) Make sure the relevant video conferencing software is installed and works
2) Make sure ID's and Passport etc are ready

Those are about the only two things that I can suggest, aside from that the ceremony as stated above lasts about 2-2.5 hours (dependent on number of people attending).

Once ceremony is done, I was ready to send off my form to the email address in regards to claiming my Citizenship cert.

But all the best and you're two more steps away from the journey ending.....well beginning even!

May I suggest dressing formally even though it might be online. You would turn out well for an in-person event, so why not for this. I had a large flag visible in the background. Had a flag pin on my jacket & not to miss the red tie :)

This is an important event in your life. I was looking forward to using the suit considering formal clothes were gathering dust during the pandemic.
