Tips for a successful BOWP application

Hi all,

Quick question regarding the application form IMM5710E:

At Question #7 Current Country Of Residence:

My Status is Worker and they ask me to specify from which date to which date.
I do not know whether if I need to type the issue and expiration dates of my current Work Permit (Oct 2013 - May 2014) or type the very first day I started working in Canada, which is when I got my first WP back in May of 2012.

I always get confused with those questions.

I've entered the date when I've entered Canada first time as a worker and I've got my BOWP without any problem. I suggest you the same.

No, did not provide that form. It's mentioned under 'optional documents' if I remember it right,
so it's not necessary to submit it.

Just got my online BOWP approved yesterday, so it should be in the mail by the end of the week.

Next step-TRV!

No, I'm from a visa exempt country and I don't need a TRV. And don't worry about asking questions Ask away!

Right, I forgot. Ok, then as a German citizen you don't need a TRV.

I am supposed to be paying for the application and submitting it, but I can't seem to find the option.

click on delete button for sections you didn't upload any, especially in Support document section. if there is still a blank section, the system basically waiting for more docs and doesn't let you go next step.

Hi,
I'm not sure how could you be lost there, normally it is very easy to follow.

You log in to your MyCIC account, upload your documents, then review the summary, and then you pay online and after you can submit it. If you can not continue, then something should me missing I guess....

Hi All,
Today morning I realized that I made a small mistake in "Schedule 1".I traveled last year and came back in Jan of this year. But in the Schedule 1 form, in the question for previous travel I filled in as 2013/12 to 2014/02.....but it should be 2013/12 to 2014/01. How can I change it now?? Whom should I approach?? Schedule 1 was not at all required, I filled it..... How can I fix it????
