Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Now I got refusal letter saying that they did not recieved my parents police ceritificate which I already sent last Dec of 2017 via email and I already have an acknowledgment letter from them. This is unbelievable. They allow me to do the appeal. Just want to know how to do it?

I sent them both option C print for 2017 just now and hopefully they approve it and forward it to Ottawa for PR processing. Kinda of relief but it's not over yet :(

Hi just want to ask, did you fill up the notice of appeal form and submit to IAD? Some lines there that I don't know what to write. My parents got refused because CIC did not received the police ceritificate which I already sent last dec 2017 via email. They told me to send via email and I followed the instructions, format and how to send. And now theyre saying they did not receive anything and they gave me a form for appeal. Im wondering If can do that process or ask the LVO to re open my application and double check the email. The police certificate of my parents will be expire soon on Dec 7th this year. I dont know If I can make it since my mom is here with me in Canada we don't have much time to get a new police certificate once they ask agan. Thanks.

Cic is utter bull SSSSS and they do not care about anything and blindly refuses applications because they cannot process them in time.

Do not fill appeal application if you have followed what they requested and if you have proof to show that.

Send multiple inquiries to visa office where this was processing (Ottawa or whichever your local office) and also send case specific inquiry form from cic website. Explain in detail what happened and attach police certificate and proof of there acknowledgement receipt of receiving it. As long as it is cic mistake you don't have to go appeal as they will have to reopen the case. Also if you want contact your local MP asap and ask them to inquire on your behalf and that will be faster and result oriented process.

Yes thanks PAmma. This is stressing me out. Wev been through a lot of difficulties since day 1 of processing, total income, 5x medical and now this f**ckn simple police certificate they rejected us. This is unfair! Other applicants got notifications first that some of their requirements are missing but for us its just straight forward refused right away without even asking if we submit the PCC or not. How did I know if they have it or not? I just relied whats on that comfirmation they sent me thats why I was confident that our application is complete.
 
As informed earlier I received Remedical which I undergone on October 16.Then I received a phone call from my Panel Physician to go for 3 day Sputum test and one Gen XPert MTB/REF test which I performed on October 29,30 and 31.Meantime I received a phone call from CIC,NewDelhi to ask my Panel Physician to upload my medical results if I have undergone Medical Examination.I called my Panel Physician to upload the results which she said that she will upload after completing my 3 day sputum tests. As you know in my last medical in February 17 also I undergone such tests and passed it. This time also all tests are negative. I emailed CIC in a logical way why repetation of these tests? Why they cannot compare results of this year with last year?Let us see what happens?Other wise one XRay on January 16 is required.GOD bless us all.

they ignore last year results at all, we redid the same specialist again because of that

Anyone has file in Delhi office? Do you know how much time they take once the status is in process to ask for medical?
 
I applied for my MIL's PR last year. Got invitation to apply in the second round :
Application received : OCt 11, 2017
Started Processing: July 16, 2018
Medical Request: July 17, 2018
Medical Passed: August 2018

Ecas : Decision Made
CIC Online : received pre arrival letter and status is "background process started"

Then on November 5, 2018 they sent an email saying to make final decision you have been selected for interview in Edmonton (as we live in Edmonton and my MIL is on supervisa)
Yesterday, then received email from New Delhi Office to submit passport for finalize the application.

My MIL is currently in India and will be back next month.
So we are not sure, whether to send passport to New Delhi (as she is in India) or attend the interview here in Edmonton (she will be back before the interview)
Please advise....
