Very less activity in this group now.
Looks like most of the members have received PR & only very few are left now.

Wish everyone gets to hear the good news the earliest possible.
still a lot of people are waiting PPR and even medical but no movement at all

Hi Guys,

I received the request for Medical examination, Criminal Record Check and PR right payment the past March 22nd of 2018. I processed recently the super visa for my Mom and she went through a medical examination the past Nov 18th of 2017 as part of the requirements. Note that this medical examination are only 4 months old. I wrote the MEX LVO asking if this would be valid for her PR process and I attached the certificate the doctor gave to me at that time. They answered me:
Johanna

my congrats
Mexico starts to move finally :)

yes, they should count you super visa medical since you did recently.
Send them receipt!

"We acknowledge receipt of the documents you have recently submitted.
Please consider that we are still waiting for the arrival of your pending documents requested to you on 2018/03/22.
You have until 2018/05/22 to comply.
Thank you for keeping your correspondence to a minimum"

I feel that their response is not clear to me, I meant I am not sure yet if the previous med examination was accepted or not. Any of you have used recent immigration medical examination for your parents done before received the request letter, were they valid for them?

Thanks for your help in advance,

Johanna

You could also check your ecas or your mom's cic account? mine got updated saying medicals were approved like two weeks after they did them.

When I paid the right of PR fee and sent the receipt I got the same answer as you. So I guess is a standard answer they have? So frustrated.

Maybe you could do as Yulia said and send the receipt of the medical and ask them again if that's enough.

Good luck!

Funds have to be Canadian income sourced. Only exception is earning funds by daily commute, that you plan to do later.
Good thing is you can still apply in 2022. 2019,2020 & 2021 NOA are required. 2021 NOA you will get by april 2022.

Thanks jhutti for your input!
But don't we have to file the PGP in January? If I get the NOA in April 2022, how is it possible to file in 2022?

It is stressful... But on the plus side, I've developed a taste for hard liquor! :D

HAHAHA :):)
This virtual group is really amazing..we all share the same issue on a daily basis..something that someone not on the boat will just never relate to
The joys of this amazing forum ;)

Thanks so much Maraca08 and Yulya!

When I asked the question to LVO MEX , I attached the receipt of the medical examination of Nov 18th, 2017. I will wait couple of weeks to see if my ecas update. It is frustrating that they don't answer the question asked with a plain English. However, there is not any other choice more than waiting.

Cheers,

Johanna

You need to get medical done again. This is you are talking about 4 month old medical. For my parents super visa medical was only 3 weeks old. Still that insist to get new medical done for PR . Pay new fee again.

Best of luck

This 2016 apply for pgp program people thread. I dont feel like hijacking the subject so last reply.

Things have changed. It is lottery system now and one can submit docs by mid year. Not in jan anymore. Also be aware your choice of cummute style work across border means no canadian citizenship for many years even if you qualify in 3 yeats. Regards...

Applied for PGP on January 4, 2016 (Purolator 9:43 am)
Sponsorship approval in July 2017 (Initially Manila LVO then transferred to CPC-Ottawa)
Medicals and PCC were completed in March 2017
Travel history document was requested in January 2018
Decision Made on Feb. 4, 2018
PPR on March 13, 2018
Received COPR and visa on March 28, 2018

Landing soon :)

Thank you everyone in this forum! Wishing you all the best!

I am happy to inform everyone that my parents got their passports back from NDVO with their immigrant visas. Thanks everyone in this forum for their support. My best wishes and good luck for everyone for faster/smooth processing of their application.

This morning got an email from Ottawa office asking for Parents (both) Resume/CV, travel history form, police clearance and medicals. For dad, in addition to those, schedule A again (It was submitted previously)

Did they ask for resume for parents application from anyone else? It says it should list all the jobs held since 18. I thought there is no resume applicable for Parents and Grand Parents applications.

Did you fill the complete Schedule A, including section 12? If not, that could be the reason why they have asked for the information again.

How about resume/CV and travel form?
