This is frustating... I got an email from CIC Mississauga on friday asking for re-assessment of my sponsorship. They want option C print for 2014,2015,2016 and 2017 (if available). I mean i got sponsorship approval in Feb 2017 which is more than an year and now they again asking for same shhhiiiittt?? seriously waited so long, more than 2 years and now again what they want is to repeat step one.

Can someone let me know if they have faced similar issue and what they did? I will be sending them option C print once i get them from CRA.
The only thing changed on my application is we have new born baby in 2017 which changed my family size to 4. Will they be considering size 3 which was original application size or they will need income proof for size 4 even though it just got changed in 2017?
Hi Pamma97, did you inform CIC your family size change before this email?

I checked my timeline, the SA was approved one month after I sent them additional option C. so it should not be long time delay for case processing but it is frustrated!:(

I have same timeline with you so I am not sure if they will ask option C later ( but my family size has no change). Hope Nooooot, god bless!! What I mentioned is the first SA approval.

don't worry, they just want to check if you meet LICO for 4 people now . they can do that any time with everybody.
I have the same family size but they can ask me NOA 2017 before DM ;)

This is what i read at some other thread, nothing to worry about.

Guys i just called CIC since i was so confused with everything. I explained the whole situation the lady and she told me
To wait on hold while she clarifies it with officer. She said income requirement is based on every year. 2013 income must meet the 2013 family size and same for other years. She said if you get married in 2017 after submitting your application just make sure that do have enough income for 4 people from 2017 onwards. Your family size changing in 2017 has nothing to do with 2013,2013 or 2015. We qualify people on basis of family size every year. Big relief !

Hi need some help. we have been requested to provide police certificate from Canada as my parents visited canada for more than 6 months. problem is they are currently in India and will be back 4/24 and the time we have to submit this is 5/3. I would rather they get the certificate here instead of India. Is it enough time from april 24 to send them the information?

You CAN NOT submit a RCMP police check equivalent in India.

You must submit fingerprints through an ACCREDITED fingerprinting service company recommended by RCMP. The list of accredited companies is given in the following link:

http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/where-do-get-a-criminal-record-check#a3

You must tell the company you choose to expedite this because 4 weeks (20 business days) is barely enough.

Once you submit the forms, it doesn't hurt telling CIC (include receipts/associated e-mails in your message) the fingerprinting forms were submitted on XX day, etc.

Hope this helps....

Thanks for the quick response. Problem is my parents are in India until April 25th so when they land it wont be enough time to submit May 3rd. is there any way to contact them as we have tried in the past through web forms and never get a response.

From CIC point of view, you should be able to get this done with e-mail/scanning/courier with the given time span, so it is unlikely they will respond.

Timing is key, so pick a company and get this process started literally today. The company you choose will tell you what to do. Follow their instructions and things should be fine.

Also, you would be better off using FedEX/UPS with expedited delivery option for mailing stuff. It is going to cost you, but it's the only way to make sure you get the docs back to your visa office as soon as possible.

Good luck.

Hi Pamma97,

There is no risk at all. The only difference is that they count you and your wife's income in total for financial evaluation, it looks more safe for SA in fact. If your income is enough to pass the LICO, it not necessary to add your wife into the application. It totally depends on your own decision. Just reminding to update relative forms carefully (especially signature part) to avoid delay due to misinput. Good Luck!
