We kept a lot of patience. Most of the people's files were transferred to NDVO in June/July of 2016 however, my parents file got transferred in Feb 2017. We never lost the hope and now the result will be fruitful. I think patience is key to success. Also, everyone's individual case is different thus their applications will be processed accordingly. But at the end, I hope everyone's file gets processed and the families get re-united in Canada :)

Decision made today . Can anyone share experiences of their landing ? I am from Calgary . Would I be able to do it in Calgary or have to go to US border ?

Call your local Embassy and find out if they allow this.
I just called CIC with the same question and they said this is regulated per country: some countries allow getting PR visa in Ottawa and doing Landing in Canada, but some don't.
Probably this is the reason of different stories here on the forum when landing in Canada is smooth for some people and does not work out for the others....

I missed the email of PPR that was dated Feb 8. I emailed Manila office about the situation and we are gonna pass it ASAP in VAC office. Lesson learned always check inbox even in spam. Btw I was expecting that the request will be from Ottawa but it came from office where my parents is residing and it's in Manila.
