Finally got an update...I see in the the GCKey account the following which was updated 2 days ago:
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
And then the following message from today:
"Invitation to Pre-arrival services - February 28, 2018 12:00:00 p.m. EST"
Not sure what to make of the above. Hopefully the end is in sight! ECAS still not updated as of this morning.
EDIT: ECAS also just got updated to Decision Made. Hoping its a positive sign.

Hi,
Decision Made is the last update in ecas. Just wait for another 10 days to get PPR until that make your photograph and express canada post (2 envelops) ready if your parents are in Canada

Hi everyone, my parents application sent in Jan 2016. My parents received the pre-arrival letter in Jan 25 2018, re-medical did last week Feb 20.
The status is background checking and medical request has sent. Photo requested in Jan 23.
Can anyone have any idea when my parents will receive PPR? My mom will come here for travel in April. Is it possible if we can expect it come around April?

My gckey medical status it says "additional exam" but no messages below I was waiting since yesterday. My Family 1st medical was done 13th of Dec 2017, then additional exam of my siblings was done this January "twice". Now status online updated saying "additional exam" AGAIN?!! But still, no message from IRCC or whatever. But I'm sick and tired of this medical I already spent a lot of money just for medical and have no clue if there is a good outcome for all of this. I am sponsoring my parents with 4 siblings underage (dependents) under PGP sponsorships Jan 2016.

hi junzky28,

you are not alone. my mom's experienced repeating xray test 3 times was so upsetting, annoying and i almost give up. last one was 10th August 2017 and now a long silence from them. i send them an inquiries about it because doing xray every other 3 months might not good for her health. there response was ''Please know that according to one of our Physician on staff, a chest xray exposes the body to 0.02 mSv. We understand your concern about radiation''. hopefully, don't receive a letter from them asking for re-medical. i hope the best on your application.

Hi All,

Did some one landed Inland? If so please share your experience.

I would also humbly request for someone to share your Inland landing experience if they have done so. I am in the GTA and would prefer landing Inland rather than flagpoling at a border.

How should we go about landing Inland? Who should we contact? Please share your experiences.

Thank you kaka555! yes, my parent is in Canada. Where can I get the envelopes and what kind of envelopes should I keep ready?

And for pictures, can I go to Costco? What specifications should I take with me? Thank you so much for your help.

Received Passport with Visa from NDVO yesterday :)
However we have not received the original supporting documents that we had sent earlier to NDVO. Does anyone know how to get them back ? Does an email to Delhi office suffice ?

Hi missmywife,
For photograph size go to immigration Canada search for permanent residents photograph specifications or even say to any photographer (for PR Immigration) Costco cost about 30 to 50% than any other photographer.

For envelop approach shoppers (Canada Post) counter and ask for Xpresspost (prepaid) envelops for sending and receiving back passport. One is about A4 size and second is 260X159mm envelops only from Canada Post. No other can work
Landing Inland may takes apoointments for 2 months.

Thank you so much kaka555!!!!! I will get my parent to take pictures then at Costco today (assuming you meant Costco is less than most places)

How can I go about booking an appointment for Inland landing? I don't mind driving to Hamilton/Kitchener or a bit further away. My parent is very hesitant to go to the border so thats why I have to look into the Inland landing process. Any help or guidance would be super :)

A quick question:

When there is PPR request, does it show in mycic account?
Do we have to send it directly to NDVO or it has to go through VFS. If VFS, does the letter mention to go through VFS?

My CIC did not show this letter in my case. The letter was received via email from NDVO.
The letter explicitly mentioned sending passport through VFS.

It is gross injustice that yet 2014 applicants are waiting for PPR and 2016,2017 applicants gets PPR when CIC has a mention of First come First Serve system. One cannot immagine on what logic they are working.
