@tucasword. I submitted the background info with the original application too but the info submitted was only for the last 10 years but now they are requesting info since the applicants turned 18 years old. So I would have to resubmit the background info. In the original application did you provide info from the time your parents turned 18 years?

Hi Tina16, (me and you seem to be on the same timeframe)
Yes, for the original application, I'd only put info for the last 10 years.

Does this really matter? If it's a generic email, and in the original background info, it wasn't asked for... should we go to all the trouble of dating things back to 18 years?
This may pose a problem for me as my parents were in non-fixed addresses in Nigeria and Kenya and they won't be able to get PCC from these places even though they were there for 1 year.
I'm confused.

Got the medical instructions today... Again this is a dilemma, my parents had their medical for supervise 5 weeks ago.. Should they do it again???

I received the SA and my file is transferred to NDVO. My irresponsible consultant informred me by email today only while she received the SA letter dt.July 07 on July14 by regular mail. Now waiting for further correspondence from NDVO. I hope my Immegration Consultant will not delay forwarding further correspondence to me.
As excelsheet is not updated I am unable to get full information regarding movement of files in NDVO. May I request forummembers whose file is transferred to NDVO to guide me approximate time taken to issue medical or demand for further documents etc. after file transfer?

Hi Guys,

Yesterday, I received PCC, Medicals and other documents for my mom. I am bit worried about PCC for canada, few years back she had stayed here in Canada for almost two years , My Mom is not in here. Does anyone know how can I obtain PCC without her presence in Canada ? It would be great if someone can suggest me ?

Question for all ex-middle east residents:-
My mother lived in Kuwait for 2 years in early 1980's and for a year in Qatar in early 1990's. She does not remember the exact addresses of both places. Should I mention both countries in the background declaration? If yes, would I need to get the police clearance from both these countries? Please advise.
Hello Tucosword
Looks like we are exactly in the same boat. Please see my above post. My mom lived in Kuwait and Qatar for a couple of years each. It is close to impossible to get her PCC from these 2 countries. I do not think it is right to hide any information from CIC so was planning to resend the Schedule A with all details since my mom turned 18 years (including her stay in Kuwait and Qatar). I will write a letter to CIC explaning why we are not able to provide the PCC from Kuwait and Qatar.

Below is exactly what is stated in the letter we received regarding Schedule A :-
Submission of a Schedule A - Background/ Declaration form (IMM 5669), for you and all dependent family members, where question 8 - Personal History and question 12 - Addresses, cover the entire period since the age of 18, leaving no gaps, if not already submitted with answers covering this entire period.

I think they made it pretty clear for my mom to provide info since 18 yrs so I will do so. I know it may create problems but I'd rather go clean with CIC. If we try to hide any info, god forbid, it may create bigger problems.

Let me know what you plan to do since we are stuck in the same situation.

Congrats on receiving the medical request. Please advise how did you receive it - regular mail or email?

@tina16

it was via email to my dad overnight.
I'm trying to figure out now if the supervisa medical is still ok or not. i may end up re-doing the medical. I'l call CIC and see what they say.

I agree with you, being clean even if it seems to open a can of worms is more prudent than deceiving them. Could bite us later.

Stay in touch. :)

That is great Tucosword!!
Keeping my fingers crossed and watching my email..... hope to recv the medicals soon too!

Does the medical request state the address where you need to send all the docs?

HI! I was wondering if sponsoring parents need police clearance from parents in their home country?

Thanks!
Yes all applicants need a police clearance from every place they have lived in for more than 6 months, but only once it has been requested from CIC.

No, this isn't clarified either. So I've sent an email to the Delhi office asking for clarity on address. Will update you if they reply.
If not, I'l send it to Mississauga office quoting the file number as reference.

I think Rossie is back.New entry is exausted.Timeline is updated. Good to know this development.

Congrats Dadaum... yeah consultants always does that. I have heared and know so many stories of them screw up people. But you keep bugging him always as they tend to relax and focus on new clients.

Anyone here who submitted additional documents online as per IRCC request and then got SA? Please let me know how long it took and what was the request.

Thanks
