Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

I have another Option C question. In my letter is says original but then they say we can send requested documents via Case Specific Enquiry form so which is it? If I send the Option C online once we get them are they then going to say they aren't original? I just got off the phone with CIC after waiting in the queue for 30 min so I'm not really wanting to go through that again to ask a question I forgot. Anyone know?

send via mail...once you get it...why want to take the risk of scanning and sending it...if they mentioned "original"...send it using expedited delivery.
I believe it is a standard format of the letter...if they ask for Original...then send original...else few docs can be sent via email...if they are not requesting for original...thats my take on your queries...

im reading it again and again just to make sure im awake and that this is true ;D

I have received an email today from CIC mentioning that I met all requirements to be a sponsor. Now my file will be forwarded to CPC-Ottawa to assess eligibility/requirements for the relatives that I have sponsored. By relatives, they mean my parents.

So what does this mean? One thing I am getting is, that at least the file is in motion now. But does this mean that in few months my parents will receive some sort of updates for their application?

Congrats to all the applicants getting their SA approved.

I disagree with the claim that it's moving fast. All the 3 ppl applied this year that I know offline- none of them got any email or file # so far (including me).
It certainly is moving fast for some ppl.

I got the exact same email today and I'm a 2016 applicant too. I first thought my sponsorship was approved and now they would forward and start reviewing my parents' application...but it seems like I just met requirements as a sponsor... What does this really mean?? My ecas was activated a while ago but I have never received an AOR. Is this email an AOR? Does anyone have any idea??

Guys I got letter in mail (Physical letter) as an AOR even though I provided my email address. I'm not sure why I got a physical letter.

Not sure but I heard it here only that if you have a single parent or parent is in Canada on visitor status then file goes to Ottawa but not 100% sure how they transfer it.

Looks like first batch will be receiving good news now and if things go linearly, 2nd batch of 5k will start receiving news in 3-4 months from now. This is based on when people got AORs.

yes 2016 batch, in the 0-5k batch, application delivered by VW at 8:10, never got AOR, no update on ecas
