CC limit went down by 1,100 this morning. Canada Post Jan 4th 8:45 sent to the PO Box (from AB), received by Mahmoud.

Its good to be back again . After getting my PR in 2014 now its time to apply for parents under the PGP program .

For those of us that applied to the 2016 PGP, after AOR is received, and knowing full well the immense backup that CIC has, what sort of timeline should we expect, in rough estimates for everything to be finalized? 48 months, 60 months ? What is everyone's best guess?

It's going to be more than four years - 5-6 is more likely. CIC introduced the cap to bring down the overall processing times to around the four year mark. However they are still working through the backlog. Also, getting down to 4 years in processing was based on a 5K application cap. Since that cap has been doubled - it's logical to assume the processing time won't drop down to 4 years.

Dont worry, Application might have accepted buty DD takes time to cash as they have to send it, So don't worry, It happened in Jan charging also,

I phoned Cic today, the agent said the application was received but cannot confirm that it was returned or made the cap.
M positive that DD wil b cashed soon.
