I am sure many of you (like my parents) are in the 2nd medical boat. This is what I did.
I was initially afraid that they may not notice the 2nd medical come PPR time etc, so
1) We uploaded the 2nd e-medical receipt along with RPRF receipt on mycic. Could be a coincidence, but we received the passport request a couple of days after I did this.
2) We enclosed a copy of e-medical receipt along with the passports when we sent them for PPR stamping. We wanted to make sure the IM-1 visa is valid up to the validity of the 2nd medical. This ensures that you can land at your own convenience.
Another popular question; what happens if you had updated your passport after submission but before PPR. Not to worry.
At PPR time send new and old passport.
