Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Sad news... our application was sent from Edmonton through Purolator for the 9am delivery. I got a msg from them just now saying it missed the connection and would be there tomorrow. This is our second year trying. I don't know we would try it again. Here is the message:

Status: Your shipment has been delayed due to a missed connection and will be delivered on 1/5/2016.

Same thing bro Fuuddulator sucks

Doesn't surprise me. Working in a legal industry we are not allowed to use them for next day delivery as on more than 1 occasion they delayed multi million dollar transactions. Big law firms only use local couriers for local delivery and if it's overnight fedex.

How can they ffff miss connection when there is no snow no storm nothing happened here in Edmonton??

Sorry to hear that. I got burned by canada post last year so I tried Purolator this year. It has reached but that still doesnt guarantee that I will be in 5k. If I dont make it this year guess where I am going next year? HAPPYROAD EXPRESS

Received VW waybill, shows 8:10am. But I think actual time should be around 8:30am. They told me they were the 4th in line. Happy road was the first one.

Anyway, finger crossed! Never been eagerer to want someone take my money...

So all the energy, time, money got wasted bcoz of this fffffffffffffff stupid courier companies who doesn't care about delivering on time.

Last year I was late coz UPS was late to deliver documents from my mom. Supposed to deliver Dec 30, but delivered Jan 6.

This is interesting. But if they were still planning on doubling the cap, why would they bother updating their website to 5,000 this morning? They could have just left it the way it was (i.e. "there is a cap"), and then update it when they were sure. So much confusion in the system!

For this year it is almost guaranteed that it is only 5k cap. The Liberal wasnt eager enough to keep their promise, or they didn't have enough time to. All the spotlight has been about Syrian refugees. 500 staff were sent to processing centers in Middle East for that cause.

Purolator Calgary was not able to deliver mine today 9AM as promised. So they will credit my money back. They will still deliver my application tomorrow morning 9AM..
