Your UCI no is necessary for uploading to CIC in the case of upfront medical. You may also provide them your file no.

So one more question. Can the medical exam be done anywhere? My Mom is coming to Canada for a visit on a visitor visa soon. Can she do her medical exam either at the home country or in Canada? The status of her CIC says that her eligibility is under review and the application is open but that is about it. Is it to early to do the medical test? I do not live in a central city and I do not imagine we have immigration doctors here. It will be easier if she can do the medical in home country before coming to Canada.

Any tips?

Yes, it can be done anywhere as long as you can find a panel doctor. http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

I am also still waiting for SA
Why this much delay for SA?Very frustrating.Salute to all of you for your patience.Pray to GOD for your early processing.

What do they check in the medical exam? My friend has applied for her parents and her dad is diabetic and sometimes has irregular heartbeat. Will that affect his medical results?

For dadaum2: For knowledge of all forum members my mother is given last date of Immigration visa is May20,2017 and the reason behind it is the date expiry of her passport. It is not related to date of PCC or medical.

Have you received PPR for your mum yet?

So The Visa office asked for addresses my mother lived in for past 52 years since she turned 18. As her father and husband both were police officeres, they moved about 30 times. And she has no clue about her past addresses. But
Schdule A form only ask for past 10 years. Why in the word visa office want all these information.

- SVO asked for Medical, PCC, RPRF, IMM0008 & Dealth Cert. on Aug 10.
- All docs except medical reports delivered to SVO on Aug 26.
- Background check on MyCIC went "in-progress" on Sep 1
- Since my mom had to do few additional tests, her medical report was uploaded by the physician on Sep 6 (MyCIC showed "medical passed" on Sep 8 and E-Cas said "medical received" on Sep 12).
- We received PPR on Sep 12 as well.

You probably can't compare SVO with NDVO currently as SVO is not making any sort of delay as long as they get what they want.

Did anyone wrote a submission letter to Visa office explaining anything?

Yes COPR is issued to my Mother along with VISA by NDVO.

Hi, You mentionedd that your mom already got visa. DO you know if she had to write all her addresses since she turned 18 for police clearance. ?

Can anyone tell me if this is true?

I received medical exam and PCC requests on Oct. 7.

Just wondering..
Once a decision is made, how soon should parents move to Canada? Will they be allowed to have some time to be prepared to move here after they receive permanent residence status?

Any idea?
