Hello,

I applied from Quebec, I received SA on July 14th, my file transferred to Ankara, I submitted the undertaking application to MIDI and my credit card charged on July 29th. I did not receive any medical or police clearance. Does anyone from Quebec received medical?

Thanks
Not sure if my below theory is right but here it is:

When Midi apporves you, they send you the CSQ and inform LVO of their decision so i guess (im not sure) that LVO wont proceed any further before getting a response from Midi because it doesnt make sense thay they let your applicant do medical test then Midi reject you then test was done for nothing !

Thats my common sense!

Majority of applications move to Ottawa. You can check the spreadsheet.
You likely wont get Medical/PCC this year/anytime soon. If you are lucky, there will be progress near the end of the year.

Those who are getting Medical Requests/PCC now, they are somehow being processed outside the backlog or their processing will stop and be in limbo for a while and they might end up having to redo all of it again since there is a validity period and I suspect they might not be done processing within the limit. There are at least 35000 (likely more) people in the backlog who are supposed to be processed before 2016 applicants. I cant fathom CIC will process 2016 applicants before starting work on 2014 / 2015 and earlier applicants.

So sit tight and dont stress.
I am kind of worried that the whole IME/PCC requests were also the result of the same automated system error. 2016 process should not go faster than 2014 and 2015 as you said.

The same thing happened to my FSW application in 2008. I got IME in 3 months after applying and expected to be in Canada in 9-12 months. Then everything started to delay and the whole application took 2 years to be processed completely. As the result I had to redo my Medical Tests which costed me 1200$ more than it should.

Now the funniest thing happened to us.

- We had two set of applications in the exactly the same manner for my parents and my wife's parents.
- Both transferred to Ankara.
- Yesterday I got an email that my parents' forwarded to Ottawa as there was an automated system issue.
- Now my wife got an email from Anakara that asked for IME.

Some of 2014 applicants are getting PR visas stamped in their passports now. We have an application at the very bottom of that pile as well as one in 2016. I can update this forum once we see medical there, but it is moving very fast this year.

Hello Frens,

This the first time i have received email, after our SA is approved and file is transferred to NDVO. All previous correspondence from CIC was via regular mail.
Same as some other applicants, whose file is also transferred to NDVO, there are few things that are not clearly mentioned in email like:
1- there is no address in the email where to send documents?
2- Initially in the email, they have requested for RPRF, PCC, Schedule A and Travel Information Form, but at the end of the email after Sincerely, ------ They have also mentioned about Non-Accompanying Adult Son/Daughter Additional Information Form , so my concern is do i have to send that form also.
3 - where do i get that form ?
4 - Can i submit all these documents online ?

Thanks for any suggestions,
Meen

All I have thus far is a New Delhi postal address in another email..
Still, not sure where to send the requested documents and PCC to.

There are a few of us on this forum who have this email from New Delhi visa office and NO ADDRESS to which we are expected to send documents to.

So far this hasn't been answered..
Is there anyone out there who is dealing with the New Delhi office for parental sponsorship who has some direction in this regard?

Sorry, guys, I have to repeat my question. Please, take a look at it. May be there's someone with the same situation.

I'm planning to send the sponsorship application for my mother in 2017.
My parents are divorced and I only will sponsor my Mum. The question is - should I send her marriage/divorce certificates as a proof of her status and also to provide the confirmation of her last name change, cause she still uses my Dad`s last name which she kept after divorce?

Thank you

Yes you will need to send divorce certificate (i don't think marriage certificate is required because that's for proving relation of dependent with principal applicant, in your case you have only PA).
No need to change name, there is insignificant value in last name when deciding on martial status of a person, those old days are long gone. Its too much work to change name with no real value (unless a person really don't want to carry a particular last name for personal reasons).

Hi Glass77,

I think we are in the same page, if you see the schedule A form , it is mentioned ...since the age of 18 or the last 10 years, whichever is most recent. so in our case its past 10 years as they are 60+.
But about their PCC while visited Canada, i am also confused as it is not clearly mentioned in the letter. So if you get any information , please pass it in this forum.

Thanks,

I was going through this and i say ''Submission of a Schedule A – Background/Declaration form (IMM 5669), for you and all dependent family members, where question 8 – Personal History and question 12 – Addresses, cover the entire period since the age of 18, leaving no gaps, if not already submitted with answers covering this entire period.

Does that mean that if your father is 63 he has to submit his personal history from age 18 and also his addresses from age 18 please clarify me on this I may be wrong, I got the exact same letter from them,

My lawyer just told me that he heard a rumor CIC will be asking visa offices to send all the Family Class files back to Ottawa and no more oversea processing for PR effective immediately. I am not sure how accurate that is.

Does that mean extra extra waits for parents those who already waited for so many years?
