That's what I thought as well but not being able to login to ECAS front after being charged over 3 weeks ago is frustrating me.
I doubt my Client-id has changed.
Relax and wait ;)...I am in the same boat like you...it will happen...they are still activating ECAS for Jan 4th applicants...whose CC were charged around 12th-15th March. I see today...someone whose CC was charged on 15th...his ECAS was activated today...I am still waiting as I was charged too on 15th March...so have to be patient :)

Now I think the 2nd phase of 5K applications is over. Now this is the right time to presume when will our application processed as some of us are assuming 2019/2020 but some are of the view that the applications are to be processed in late 2018 and rest will be in late 2019. Keeping all the views I am of the view that first 2500 application of Jan 2016 are to be processed up to Dec 2017 and rest 7500 applications will be processed up to June/July 2018. Base of my calculation is as under:-
As per the graph (link given at page 256 of the Forum by –MK-) shows 42387 persons pending with 2.7 years wait time (clearly mentioned person not applications ).Again Rosie writing at page 257 as for 2014 – 5000 applications consist of 9061 person and for 2015 – 5000 applications consist of 8069 persons. This means average goes to approx... 1.7 persons per application but I am of the view that average 1.5 person per application as IRCC allows 20000 persons per year as per the policy and when these applications are processed 1.7 person will reduced to 1.5 person per application due to not maintaining of LICO, Medical Issues ,Family circumstances, LVO delayed frustrations, personnel record, police verification, mis-representation in Forms not matched with the record they are having earlier of sponsor as well as of applicants and finally the survival of the persons applied, all these affects/reduces total number of persons.
So keeping in mind 42387 (persons are in the back log in Jan 2015)+ 8069 (5000 applications in 2015) = 50456 – 20000(processed in 2015)=30456 (at the year ending 2015 or Jan 2016) + 15000 person (of 10000 application in Jan 2016) =45456 – 20000 (person processed in 2016) =25456 (at the year ending 2016 or Jan 2017) then -20000 (processed in 2017 )= 5456 that takes another 4 or 5 months in 2018 and in the likewise situation the back log will be eliminated at the end of 2021 (only 456 persons in the backlog and then every application will processed in only 6 -8 months).
End 2016 = 25456 + 15000 (10,000 applications in 2017) =40456 – 20000 (processed in 2017) =20456 + 15000 (new 10000 applications in 2018) = 35456 – 20000 (processed in 2018) =15456 +15000 (10000 applications in 2019) =30456 -20000 (processed in 2019) = 10456 + 15000 (10000 applications in 2020) =25456 – 20000 (processed in 2020) = 5456 + 15000 (10000 applications in 2021) = 20456 – 20000 (processed in 2021) = 456 persons at the end of 2021 or Jan 2022.
As per Vitlen,, Tamilnadu, dcdoudh ,Pamma 97 and Rossie all the statements are very impressive. As you all know that 22 files out of 52 from 2014 (2014 spread sheet/Forum) application having movement like (3-approval for sponsorship,4- transferred to LVO., 1- medical received, 11-sponsorship in progress, 2-PR in process). According to sponsorship parents in 2015 forum DTNNN at page 207 writes/says request for additional documents received and 741953 at same page writes--- someone from Chinese forum applied in 2015 got documents request ,parents’ marriage certificate etc. against the application Jan 2,2015 at around 10 AM.
According to all these progress it seems the Liberals like to clear the back-log very soon .
Waooo....good one!!!...and I agree with your analysis...

But in 2014 and 2015...its good and the backlog will reduce faster because IRCC accepted 8K persons (5K applications) in each of the 2 years...but would be processing 20K persons/year...so they will clear at the rate of 12K additional persons for the year 2014 and 2015.

And from this year...IRCC would be accepting approx 15K persons (10K applications)...but would be processing 20K persons/year...so they will clear at the rate of 5K additional persons...starting this year...which is kind of slower at a slower than 2014 and 2015...because they accepted only 5K applications.

Yes I agree with most of what you say, however, we are still not sure what Visa office they will transfer the files to after sponsorship is approved. If they transfer to Ottawa Office like some of the examples we see in 2014 spreadsheet, then great as Ottawa doesnt delay needlessly usually. However if is it transferred to some embassy office overseas, then all bets are off.

Also I read somewhere that if parents are here on Supervisa then it is processed in Ottawa. How do they know if they are in Canada or not. I dont remember entering any info regarding that on the application package although I can be mistaken.
Well my mom is here on super visa so I put her current address as Canadian address and that's what you should write in application if your parents are here so that file can be processed here in Ottawa. Most of LVO are fast once file is transferred but it all depends on case to case basis. Medical, Criminality, Security and all other checks of that person.

Mine was charged on Marth24th, from the delayed Purolator batch, Jan5th morning. So happy.

I have a question, with all the unemployment going on in Alberta.. what will happen when people get laid off and apply for EI ? :'( will this give you problems with your application or cancel it? Of course people will try to get a job ASAP.. but who knows when things will get better.. if the application gets 'processed' in 2 or 3 years, probably that people will be back on there feet right?

any thoughts or stories around EI and sponsorship?

You have to maintain LICO throughout the entire application processing period (until your parents' PR visa is approved). CIC will often verify that you still meet LICO at some point during the process, if your income has dropped below LICO since submitting the application, your application will be refused. So you should do everything you can to avoid periods of unemployment.

So far I found that having dependents in the PR application is the major factor that makes the transfer to LVO (home country). Otherwise, it stays here in Ottawa. Parents visiting here on any visa is a minor thing in this case.

To elaborate, CIC will transfer the case to LVO when it demands documents which are normally issued in home country. If it requires less documents (i.e. single parent), there is a good chance CIC will keep it at Ottawa. The latter will/may be processed faster as well for obvious reasons.

Try changing your proxy settings and see if it works:

Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings
Check "Automatically detect Settings"
Uncheck "Use automatic configuration script"

Now, try going to google docs.

Hello every one,
Please let me guide/know the link to the thread of Super Visa within from Canada as I am unable to find that link
Rossie, if you don’t mind can u advice about Super Visa since you applied for your parents.
We are in Canada on visitor Visa and our visa status going to expire next week though we have multiple visa till 2022. We have applied for Super Visa on Mar. 16, 2016 to stay extended period to be with our new born grandchild and there is no reply from IRCC till date and while going through the IRCC site that speaks for only 4 days if applied on-line but for the last 20 days that shows they are processing on-line application of 15 March,2016 with a notice that this site is updated last 21 Mar. 2016.
Guide me , Thanks in an advance

This topic is still very hazy to me. As far I understand, you cannot apply for any TRV (including Supervisa) within Canada if you're only a visitor. One can apply to extend his/her stay which I assume you did. Parents who are here on regular TRV will be considered for a 2-year extension once they apply for such. But you won't have a visa stamp on your passport.
- If you get an extension, it will allow you to stay in Canada for that duration. Once you leave Canada, the stay permit becomes invalid. And you would need a valid visa to re-enter Canada (which you have).

I wanted to apply/renew my mom's Supervisa within Canada as hers expiring in Jan, 2017. I started a topic for it as well. We're going back home this summer and it will be very tight if she applies for the SV from there (can take months). So, my plan is to ask for 2-year stay permit while coming back at POE. If they don't, then I will apply for an extension later this year.
