Yes, I have supplied documents and proof of my intentions of moving back to Canada. I have printed out my RBC account details and any correspondence from Royal Bank of Canada, original letter of support from my family, email communications from schools where I intent to send my children and email communication from friends of my plans. I hope these are good enough.

Yes, my children and I are Canadian Citizens so I thought this would be no problem and also, my husband and I got married in Scarborough, Ontario 20 years ago. I guess I just have to wait. What I am really concern about are the amount of personal information floating about regarding myself and my family. If I knew that they have received them by sending me an AOR then I would be at ease.

unfortunately you just have to have faith that the file is at Mississauga, it is a very slow process.......and as mentioend before not everyone gets an AOR you might just get the approval.....seems like March is doing well today and maybe February will get some news as well.....fingers crossed

Here's what really gets me... I am outside Canada and have been making plans to move to Canada. There is so much to do, so much planning, finding places, schools, jobs etc. Also, so much planning with leaving where I am as well with schools etc. Its like you make plans for a reasonable time after you have applied say a year or two years and they slow things down. I was actually planning to move once my sponsor was approved as I wanted to get everything sorted and straight for when my hubby can come but it is so uncertain..

People dont just pick up and leave, they have to plan and how do you make plans (which cic wants to see) if you have no definite time frame?

Would it be better if I was to just go and send them my updated information as it happens? But then, with how it is, how would I be sure that they would even put it with my application?

Between a rock and a hard spot right now. Really don't know what to do! My children and I can leave right now but I dont want to leave my hubby for longer than needed.

I've sent my beginning of Feb 2012 and dont have an AOR (unless it was in my junk mail). To be perfectly honest with you, i dont know myself.
I took the liberty of writing to the Case Processing Centre office in Mississuaga and Canadian High Commission in London to enquire just in case I deleted the email in the junk mail.
KJG might have a better answer for you.

Middle of March is now just starting to get processed now....have a little patience...I know it is hard....you may or may not get an AOR not everyone does and if you do usually by email.........and yes do check your junkmail....pretty sure it is safe to say they have not reached you yet.....but it definitely has "cic-gc" on the sender line...........

I am in the same boat as you, my children and I are ready to go but cannot leave my other half. Oh well Blondie1216 just keep paddling with me one day we will reach our destination we just dont know who will get there first but we will reach it. Good luck!

By the way, have you got communications from schools you intent the your children to attend and have you spoken to the Orientation Centre? I I have communication from school but not the Orientation Centre yet. I wonder if the CPC needed that communication?

I have communication from the school and bank info but nothing from the orientation centre. I wonder if we can send things in now? I would have loved to include some extra stuff like my bank account info that i recently opened in Canada etc.

I have sent before my employment letter from England to CPC Mississuaga thinking that they might need it just in case as I forgot to include it in my whole application pack. Well this was returned to me as they were unable to process my request and they also said that they have no record of my application submission. I think this is because they have not process my application. They also said that if they needed it they will write to me requesting my employment letter. So since you have not got any correspondence from CPC, I would hold off any information until they asked for it.

Well talk about time scale - just an update. My February 2012 application have now been answered and I am approved to sponsor my husband after 6 months of waiting.

Wow....that was a long wait qtazgal....but finally your approval!!! congrats......
