i apply trv online for my wife india on :19 oct 2015
still show open but its almost 24 days already

Hi Farhan,

It's barely 7 business days since your brother applied. Hope you're not expecting a decision that's faster than the average normal processing times.

Apart from the holidays for Remembrance Day and Diwali, CIC does not work on weekends

Thanks for the update Bryanna........I had a memory of my neighbor's parent application (online) got rejected and they got reply in 5 business day. However it was back in start of the year and nowadays online application might be way more loaded hence the delay.

If you applied online then you can check your status/updates by signing in to your MyCIC account.

If you submitted a paper application then it is not possible to check for updates online

The average processing time is 23 days for the CHD visa office. Actual decisions can be faster/later than this

so when i open my account there no update nothing last update there from 19 oct
anyone have idea

Hi Just a curious question. Did you see any of the options under application status updated. Like review of medical results to Passes, Review of documents submitted to completed.

no there just showing u r file open
rest nothing change not start

Hello,

I applied online visitor visa to my new born baby, I got three emails from the day I applied which is 10th Nov.

And saw that medical results showing as passed, when can I expect the decision on visa and also is there any chance of rejection after medical is passed?

I believe, medical is the last step.

I guess its taking a while these days ehh

. I have been waiting more than 90 days , it takes more usual time for sure
